Ham and Potato Soup

3 1/4 cups water
5 potatoes, peeled and diced
1/3 cup diced celery
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
3/4 cup diced cooked ham
2 TB chicken bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Optional: frozen corn

5 TB butter
5 TB flour
2 cups milk

Combine water, vegetables and spices in a big pot and cook over medium heat until potatoes are tender, about 10-15 mins.

In a separate saucepan, melt butter and then add flour, stirring until smooth. Slowly stir in milk and keep over medium-low heat about 4 mins.

Stir the milk mixture into the big pot and you're done!
